Who we are, who we can see, and what we are allowed to say.
Scripted services are available to Australian residents who are at least 18 years old.
Yes, telehealth is legal in Australia and is transforming how healthcare is delivered. Scripted Clinic is an Australian-based platform that connects patients, practitioners and pharmacists through safe and compliant telehealth services.
Australian advertising regulations do not allow us to name specific medicines publicly, including the alternative medicines we work with. This is a rule we follow rather than a choice we have made.
During your consultation your practitioner will discuss the options that suit you and make a personalised recommendation.
You can reach us through our contact page, by emailing [email protected], or by calling 1300 672 070, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Booking, what happens on the call, and changing an appointment.
Once you select the service you want, you can book a telehealth consultation with one of our qualified doctors. During the consultation the doctor will assess your needs thoroughly and provide a personalised treatment plan.
No referral is required. Simply book a consultation through our website — click Book now and sign up. A health summary from your GP is not necessary, though it can help give a fuller picture of your medical history.
Appointment length varies with the complexity of your case. Initial consultations generally run 20 minutes and follow-up consultations 15 minutes.
Contact the clinic at [email protected] or 1300 672 070 and our team will make the change for you.
Email us at [email protected] and we will sort it out with you.
Yes. Any change to your health or your medications can affect how safe and effective your treatment plan is, so please let us know. You can update your details yourself by logging in to the patient portal.
How prescribing decisions are made, and what to do if something changes.
No. Your practitioner will only issue a prescription where they judge it medically appropriate. Consultations and prescriptions follow best medical practice and Australian prescribing guidelines.
You are welcome to raise a particular treatment during your consultation, but your doctor assesses your needs and decides on the product and dosage based on medical guidelines and your health profile.
Only your practitioner can authorise a change to your dosage. Contact us at [email protected] and we will put the question to them.
Treatment plans are valid for six months from the date your practitioner creates them.
Contact us at [email protected] and we will connect you with your practitioner to look at the alternatives.
If you experience a concerning side effect, stop taking the medication and contact your GP immediately. You can also email our support team at [email protected] and we will notify your practitioner.
If you are seriously unwell, call 000.
What you pay, how you pay it, and when a refund applies.
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Other payment methods may be available — see our pricing page for the current list.
Telehealth consultations with us are not covered by Medicare or by most private health insurers. It is worth checking your own policy, as insurers do change what they cover.
If you are not satisfied with your consultation, contact us at [email protected] within seven days of it and we will look at the circumstances. We may offer a partial or full refund where a technical problem prevented the consultation going ahead, or where the consultation was not in line with the services we provide.
Refunds are not issued where the consultation was completed and a treatment plan was appropriately prescribed. Consultation fees are not refundable once a prescription has been issued, because the consultation is itself the service provided.
Charges appear as ‘Scripted Clinic’ or a closely related descriptor.

Where our practitioners are, who dispenses your medicine, and how your data is handled.
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information is stored securely and handled in line with Australian privacy law, including the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles. Our privacy policy sets out what we collect and why.
Our practitioners are based around Australia, which is what lets us offer consultations to patients in every state and territory.
No. We partner with a number of independent Australian pharmacies so that ordering is seamless, but those pharmacies are separate operators.
We work with a network of independent Australian pharmacies, who send your treatment along with information on how to use it safely. You are told which pharmacy is handling your order once it is confirmed.
You can use your own pharmacy instead if you prefer. Allow one to two business days for this, as our support team needs to send the paperwork across.
Our team answers the phone Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and replies to email within one business day. No question is too small to ask before you book.
